Faecal microbiota transfer moves a healthy, complete gut microbial community into a dog whose own community has been disrupted. VetBiota delivers it as a lyophilised graft in capsules, so no anaesthesia, enema or endoscopy is needed.
Is it autologous or donor material?
Both. CaniAuto banks your own dog's microbiota while it is healthy. CaniRescu, CaniRestore and CaniK9 use screened donor material for dogs that cannot provide their own sample in time.
How are the capsules given?
Orally, with food or directly, according to the schedule agreed with your veterinarian. The capsules are designed to pass the stomach and release the graft in the intestine.
How long can the capsules be stored?
The lyophilised graft is stable for long-term storage under the conditions specified on the LOT sheet. One box stays with you, the rest remains in the VetBiota stool bank.
Which dogs can become donors?
Young to middle-aged, fully vaccinated dogs with no antibiotic exposure in the recent period, passing our parasitology and pathogen panel. Screening is repeated regularly for active donors.
Does this replace veterinary care?
No. VetBiota products are used alongside veterinary treatment and under veterinary supervision — they are not a substitute for diagnosis or emergency care.
